OpenBEP4EU at EUSEW 2025 — and heading to Klimafolkemødet 2025

We are pleased to announce that OpenBEP4EU was officially represented at this year’s EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW 2025), held from 10–12 June in Brussels and online. The event, themed “Powering a fair and competitive green transition”, brought together over 10,000 participants from across Europe to explore the future of renewables, energy efficiency, and clean energy innovation.

As part of the EUSEW programme, OpenBEP4EU engaged with policy makers, technical experts, and fellow innovators to present its work on next-generation Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).

OpenBEP4EU’s mission is to improve the accessibility and quality of building energy data. By supporting harmonised EPC implementation, the project enables better decision-making for building renovations, sustainable design, and climate investments — all in line with the EU’s climate and energy goals.

Next Stop: Klimafolkemødet 2025

We are excited to share that OpenBEP4EU will be represented at Klimafolkemødet 2025, Denmark’s national climate festival, taking place from 28–30 August in Middelfart.

This year’s theme, “Climate Action Together”, reflects OpenBEP4EU’s collaborative vision for EPC reform and sustainable transformation in the built environment. The Climate Festival is known for its vibrant mix of public, political, and professional dialogue, drawing over 40,000 visitors in 2024 and offering a unique platform for shared climate action.

Our team will participate in the professional programme, contributing to the ongoing conversation about building energy performance, digital tools for renovation, and the role of transparent data in climate policy. The project’s activities in Denmark — one of five EU countries involved in real-world testing — will also be showcased.
